The set design for The Earthshot Prize celebrated Singapore’s biophilic architecture—a design approach that sought to connect building occupants more closely to nature. This served as a role model for future urban communities around the world. Our hero piece of the design consisted of a suspended ring with live, lush green plants, connecting the stage with the audience in an immersive and intimate manner.

The ring was a symbolic statement of different communities from around the world working together to create positive change for the environment. It represented the constant interplay between humanity and nature, and emphasized a strong commitment to sustainability for a better life on our planet. Architectural lighting panels with live plants created the surrounding landscape and provided an appreciation of a paradise city for both residents and biodiversity.
